Car
If you are driving from Cagayan de Oro, take the Iligan–Cagayan de Oro Road and head towards the town of Maramag. From Maramag, continue on the Bukidnon-Davao Road until you reach the junction for Cotabato City. Follow the signs to Cotabato City. Once in Cotabato City, take the Cotabato-GenSan Road heading north. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn right onto the road that leads to Pikit. Fort Pikit is located in Sitio Ababon, within the town of Pikit. The total drive will take around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Cagayan de Oro, head to the Bulua Bus Terminal and board a bus heading to Cotabato City. This trip will take about 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive at Cotabato City, transfer to a local bus or jeepney that goes to Pikit. Make sure to ask the driver if they pass by Sitio Ababon. The local transport will take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to reach your destination.
Tricycle
Once you arrive in Pikit by bus or jeepney, you can hire a tricycle to take you to Sitio Ababon. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
