If you're driving from Cagayan de Oro, take the Iponan-Camiguin Road (also known as the Cagayan de Oro-Camiguin Road) towards Balingasag. Continue to the junction in Balingasag and turn left onto the highway that leads to the municipality of Mambajao. Follow the signs to Katibawasan Falls. The total travel time is approximately 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Mambajao, look for the sign indicating Katibawasan Falls and follow the local road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance. Parking is available near the falls.

To reach Katibawasan Falls using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Cagayan de Oro to Mambajao. Buses leave regularly from the Agora Bus Terminal. The journey takes about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Mambajao, you can hire a tricycle or a local jeepney to take you to Katibawasan Falls, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Make sure to negotiate the fare with the driver before starting the trip. The entrance fee to the falls is around 50 PHP per person.
