Upon reaching Iligan City, follow the signs to Tinago Falls. You will need to turn onto the Tinago Falls Road, which is a bit steep and winding. There is a parking area near the entrance to the falls. Make sure to bring cash for the entrance fee, which is around ₱50 per person.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Cagayan de Oro City, head to the Agora Bus Terminal and board a bus bound for Iligan City. The bus ride lasts around 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Iligan City, take a tricycle to the Tinago Falls entrance. The tricycle ride will cost around ₱50-₱100. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the way to Tinago Falls.
Tricycle
If you are already in Iligan City, you can hire a tricycle to take you directly to Tinago Falls. The ride will take about 30 minutes and cost around ₱100-₱150. Ensure that you agree on the fare before starting the trip to avoid any misunderstandings.
Hiking
From the parking area, you will need to hike down approximately 300 steps to reach Tinago Falls. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The hike down is relatively easy, but the steps can be steep. Enjoy the beautiful views of the falls once you arrive at the bottom.
