Getting There

Hiking
From the town center of Sagada, start your hike towards the east on the road leading to the entrance of the Echo Valley. Follow the signs towards the Hanging Coffins. After approximately 30 minutes of hiking, you will reach a viewpoint overlooking the rice terraces. Continue on the same trail for another 45 minutes, which will lead you directly to the Hungduan Rice Terraces in the municipality of Hungduan. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep and rugged in some areas.

Tricycle
Head to the main tricycle station located near the Sagada public market. Look for a tricycle heading to Hungduan; you may need to negotiate the fare with the driver, which typically costs around PHP 200-300 per person. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Hungduan Rice Terraces, and they will drop you off at the nearest access point to the terraces.

Motorbike Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a motorbike from one of the rental shops in Sagada. Once you have the bike, head out of Sagada towards the east on the main road. Follow the signs to Hungduan, which is about 13 kilometers away. The ride will take you around 30-40 minutes. When you reach Hungduan, look for signs leading to the rice terraces. Park your bike at a designated area and walk to the viewing points.
