Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any point in Siquijor and make your way towards the port of Siquijor. From there, you will need to take a ferry to Cebu. Once you arrive at the Cebu port, follow the signs to the South Bus Terminal. At the terminal, board a bus bound for Samboan. The fare is approximately PHP 150-200. The bus ride takes about 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Samboan, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the Aguinid Falls entrance. From there, it’s a short walk to the falls entrance where you may be required to pay a small entrance fee (around PHP 50).

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a tricycle or motorcycle taxi from your hotel to the Siquijor port. Then, take the ferry to Cebu. Upon arrival, head to the South Bus Terminal and catch a bus to Samboan. As an alternative, you can also take a van from the terminal to Samboan, which may be slightly faster but could cost a bit more (around PHP 200-250). After arriving in Samboan, ask the driver to drop you off at the Aguinid Falls entrance. Prepare to pay the entrance fee of approximately PHP 50.

• Guided Tour

  For a hassle-free experience, consider joining a guided tour that includes transportation to Aguinid Falls from your accommodation. These tours typically include a pick-up and drop-off service, and may also cover the entrance fee. Prices vary but expect to pay around PHP 1,500-2,500 depending on the inclusions. This option allows you to enjoy the scenic views without the stress of navigating public transportation.
