Car
If you are driving from Cebu City, take the Cebu South Road (also known as the National Highway) and head south towards Sogod, Cebu. The total drive is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Sogod, look for the local signage or Google Maps to guide you to Q253+679, which is the address for Bagatayam Falls. There may be a small parking fee at the falls, so be prepared with some cash.
Public Transportation
From Cebu City, you can take a Ceres bus from the South Bus Terminal heading to Bato or Oslob. Inform the driver to drop you off at Sogod, which takes about 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Sogod, you can hire a local tricycle or habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Bagatayam Falls. The fare for the tricycle may cost around PHP 50-100, depending on negotiation. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to Q253+679.
Combination (Car + Hiking)
If you have rented a vehicle, drive to the nearest village to Bagatayam Falls, which is around 15-20 minutes away from Sogod. Park your vehicle in a safe area and prepare for a short hike of about 30 minutes through local paths to reach the falls. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the hike. Some local guides may be available for hire to help you navigate the trails.
