Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards the municipality of Bantayan in Cebu. From Cebu City, take the North Bus Terminal and board a bus heading to Hagnaya Port, which costs around PHP 200. The journey will take approximately 4 to 5 hours. Upon arriving at Hagnaya Port, take a ferry to Bantayan Island, which costs approximately PHP 200 and takes about 1 hour. Once you reach Bantayan Island, you can either rent a motorcycle or take a tricycle to Baigad Lagoon Beach, which is about a 30-minute ride from the port.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, start your journey at the North Bus Terminal in Cebu City. Board a bus heading to Hagnaya Port (PHP 200, about 4-5 hours). After arriving at Hagnaya, take the ferry to Bantayan Island (PHP 200, about 1 hour). Once on the island, you can find tricycles or local transport that can take you to Baigad Lagoon Beach. The ride from the ferry terminal to the beach is approximately 30 minutes.

  If you prefer to explore Bantayan Island at your own pace, consider renting a motorcycle upon arrival at the ferry terminal. Rental costs usually range from PHP 300 to PHP 500 per day. This gives you the flexibility to navigate the island and reach Baigad Lagoon Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute ride from the ferry terminal.

• Tricycle

  Once you arrive on Bantayan Island, you can hire a tricycle for a direct transfer to Baigad Lagoon Beach. The fare for a tricycle ride is typically around PHP 150 to PHP 300 depending on your negotiation skills and the distance from the ferry terminal, which is about 12 kilometers away.
