Car
If you are driving from Iloilo City, take the Iloilo-Guimaras ferry from the Parola Wharf. The ferry ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes and costs around PHP 14-20 per person. Once you arrive at Jordan Wharf in Guimaras, drive towards Nueva Valencia. Follow the road signs to Nueva Valencia, which is about a 30-minute drive. Keep following the coastal road until you reach the Nueva Valencia area, then look for signs directing you to Guiwanon Island. You may need to park your car at a designated area and take a small boat to the island, which typically costs around PHP 30-50 per person.
Public Transportation
From Iloilo City, head to the Parola Wharf to catch the ferry to Guimaras. The ferry ride costs approximately PHP 14-20. Upon arrival at Jordan Wharf, you can take a multicab or jeepney heading to Nueva Valencia, which will cost around PHP 20-30. Inform the driver that you are going to Guiwanon Island. Once you reach Nueva Valencia, you may need to hire a tricycle to take you to the nearest boat terminal for Guiwanon Island. The tricycle fare is around PHP 50-100, and the boat ride to the island will cost another PHP 30-50.
