Car
If you are driving, start from Iloilo City. Head northwest on the Iloilo-Capiz Road (also known as the Panay National Highway). Continue on this road until you reach the town of San Remigio in Antique province. Look for the signs directing you to Danao Lake as you approach San Remigio. Upon entering San Remigio, follow local signage to R5HG+F77, where Danao Lake is located. Parking is available near the lake.
Bus
To reach Danao Lake via public transportation, take a bus from Iloilo City to San Jose de Buenavista, the capital of Antique province. Buses leave from the Jaro area of Iloilo City and the fare is approximately PHP 150-200. Once in San Jose, transfer to a local jeepney or tricycle heading to San Remigio. Inform the driver you are heading to Danao Lake. The fare for the jeepney or tricycle should be around PHP 20-50. The last leg will take you directly to R5HG+F77, where Danao Lake is situated.
Tricycle/Jeepney
If you are already in San Remigio, find a tricycle or jeepney that services the area around Danao Lake. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in; it should cost around PHP 20-30. The drivers are usually familiar with Danao Lake, so simply tell them your destination, and they will take you there directly.
