Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Gdańsk Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny), exit the station and head southeast on Podwale Przedmiejskie street. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Targ Węglowy. At the intersection, turn left onto Targ Węglowy and follow the road as it curves to the right to become Długi Targ. Continue walking along Długi Targ for about 300 meters, and you will see the iconic Neptune Fountain. From here, you can see the tall tower of the Basilica of St. Mary in the distance. Walk past the fountain and continue straight on Długi Targ until you reach the street called Podkramarska. Turn right onto Podkramarska, and the Basilica will be on your left at number 5.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz area, you can take tram line 6 or 11 from the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz tram stop. Board the tram heading towards the city center and get off at the 'Długi Targ' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk east along Długi Targ for about 300 meters until you reach Neptune Fountain. From the fountain, continue straight and turn right onto Podkramarska street. The Basilica of St. Mary will be on your left at number 5.

    If you are near the Gdańsk Shipyard area, you can take bus number 100 or 258 from the nearest bus stop. Board the bus heading towards the city center and get off at the 'Targ Węglowy' stop. Once you get off, walk south towards Długi Targ. Turn left onto Długi Targ and walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach Neptune Fountain. From there, walk past the fountain and continue on Długi Targ, then turn right onto Podkramarska street. The Basilica will be on your left at number 5.
