For those using public transportation, Poznań has a well-connected tram and bus network. You can take tram line 1 or 2 from the main train station (Poznań Główny) directly to the city center. Disembark at the 'Rondo Kaponiera' stop and transfer to tram line 12 or 15, which will take you to 'Gołębia' stop, located very close to the Basilica. A single ticket costs about 4 PLN and is valid for 30 minutes. Make sure to validate your ticket before getting on the tram.
