Getting there

Car

If you're driving to the Royal Castle in Poznań, start by getting onto the A2 highway if you're coming from outside the city. Follow the signs for Poznań and take exit 1 toward Poznań Center. Once you arrive in the city, follow signs for Stare Miasto. Continue onto ul. Głogowska and then merge onto ul. Wrocławska. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto ul. Stary Rynek. The Royal Castle is located at Góra Przemysła 1, just a short walk from the market square. There is parking available in nearby lots, but be prepared to walk a short distance to the castle.

Public Transportation

To reach the Royal Castle using public transportation, first find your way to a tram or bus stop in Poznań. If you're near the city center, you can catch tram lines 1, 2, or 9 towards the Stary Rynek. Get off at the 'Złotą' stop and walk towards the market square. From there, head to Góra Przemysła 1, where the Royal Castle is located. Alternatively, you can catch any bus or tram heading towards the city center and get off at 'Poznań Główny' train station, then walk about 15 minutes to the castle.
