Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Jelenia Góra. From the city center, head southeast on ul. 1 Maja toward ul. Nowowiejska. Continue onto ul. Sobieszowska, following signs for Chojnik Castle. After approximately 6 km, turn left onto the road leading to the castle. There is a parking area near the entrance where you can leave your vehicle. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 5 PLN per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Chojnik Castle using public transportation, take a bus from Jelenia Góra to Sobieszów. Buses run frequently from the main bus station (Dworzec Autobusowy) in Jelenia Góra. Look for buses marked 'Sobieszów' or 'Chojnik' and confirm with the driver. The fare is usually around 4 PLN. Once you arrive in Sobieszów, follow the signs to Chojnik Castle, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill on a well-marked path.
Hiking Trail
For those who enjoy hiking, there are scenic trails leading to Chojnik Castle. If you're already in the Karkonosze Mountains, you can start from the village of Jagniątków. Follow the marked hiking trails toward Chojnik Castle, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. The trails are well-maintained and offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry water. There are no additional costs for using the hiking trails.
