Getting There

Car
From the center of Karpacz, head northeast on ul. Mściwoja toward ul. Kościuszki. Continue on ul. Mściwoja, then take a right onto ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja. Follow the road for approximately 3.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Giant Mountains National Park. There is a parking area here, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 10-20 PLN per day.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Jelenia Góra to Karpacz. The buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Karpacz, you can either walk to the Giant Mountains National Park entrance, which is about a 30-minute walk, or take a local taxi to the entrance for about 20-30 PLN.

Hiking
Once you reach the entrance to the Giant Mountains National Park, you can begin your hike. The most popular trail leads up to Śnieżka, the highest peak in the range. Follow the marked trails, which are well signposted. Ensure to wear appropriate hiking gear and bring water and snacks. The trail is approximately 5 kilometers from the park entrance and can take about 2-3 hours to reach the summit.
