Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk towards the north-west exit of the square, heading towards the Floriańska Street. Continue along Floriańska Street until you reach the Barbican. From there, take a left onto Karmelicka Street. At the end of Karmelicka Street, turn right onto Starowiślna Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Józefa Street. Turn left onto Józefa Street, and you will find the High Synagogue at number 38 on your right.

    From the Main Market Square, head to the nearest tram stop, which is at the intersection of Szewska Street and Westerplatte Street. Take tram line 8 or 13 towards the 'Borek Fałęcki' or 'Nowy Bieżanów' stops. Get off at the 'Miodowa' stop. From there, walk along Miodowa Street until you reach the intersection with Józefa Street. Turn right onto Józefa Street, and the High Synagogue will be at number 38 on your left.
