Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, such as Gdańsk or Toruń. From Gdańsk, take the S7 expressway towards Elbląg. After approximately 45 km, take the exit toward Sztum (Route 55). Continue for about 15 km, following signs for Sztum. Once you enter Sztum, follow the signs to the Teutonic Castle located at Galla Anonima 16. There is available parking near the castle, but be prepared for potential parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Sztum via public transport, take a train from Gdańsk Główny station to Sztum. Trains run regularly and the journey typically takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Sztum train station, exit and head towards the town center, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow signs or use a map application to navigate to Galla Anonima 16, where the Teutonic Castle is located.

• Bus

  An alternative public transport option is to take a bus from Gdańsk to Sztum. Buses depart from the Gdańsk bus terminal and the trip takes around 2 hours. Once you arrive in Sztum, you can either walk to the castle (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to Galla Anonima 16.

• Taxi

  If you are in Sztum and prefer a more direct route to the castle, consider taking a local taxi. Taxis can be hailed on the street or booked via a mobile app. The fare from the Sztum train or bus station to the Teutonic Castle should be around 10-20 PLN, depending on traffic conditions.
