Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Sopot, make your way towards the Sopot Pier (Molo). Once you reach the pier, continue walking along the promenade towards Gdynia. Enjoy the scenic views of the Baltic Sea on your right. After approximately 2.5 kilometers, you will arrive at the border between Sopot and Gdynia. Continue straight on the promenade, and after about 500 meters, you will see signs pointing towards Gdynia City Beach. Follow the signs to reach the beach area.

  • Public Transport - Train

    Head to Sopot train station (Sopot PKP), which is located just a short walk from the main street in Sopot. Take a regional train (SKM) towards Gdynia. The train ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at Gdynia Główna station. From there, exit the station and walk straight for about 700 meters until you reach the coast. Once at the coast, turn left and continue walking for about 1 kilometer along the waterfront until you see Gdynia City Beach.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Locate the nearest bus stop in Sopot. Take bus number 186 or 197 towards Gdynia. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Disembark at the 'Gdynia - Skwer Kościuszki' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront and follow the promenade to the left for about 1 kilometer until you reach Gdynia City Beach.
