Walking
From the center of Sopot, head east towards the Sopot Pier. Once you reach the pier, walk along the waterfront promenade that leads towards Gdańsk. The promenade is well marked and offers beautiful views. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the border of Sopot and Gdańsk. You will enter Gdańsk, where the Main City is located. Look for signs indicating 'Główne Miasto' as you approach the Old Town area.
Public Transport (Tram)
From Sopot, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located on ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino. Take tram line 2 or 3 towards Gdańsk. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Gdańsk Główny' stop. From there, you can walk to the Main City by heading towards the historic area, which is around a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards 'Główne Miasto' and enjoy the sights along the way.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental stations in Sopot. Cycle east along the promenade towards Gdańsk. The cycling path is clear and safe, taking you through scenic views of the coastline. The distance is about 2 kilometers, and it will take you around 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Gdańsk, you can park your bike at designated bike racks near the Main City.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer a more convenient option, you can hail a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Główne Miasto, Gdańsk'. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to show the driver the destination if they are unfamiliar with it.
