Getting there

Car

If you're driving, head to the town of Zakopane, which is the main gateway to the Tatra Mountains. From Zakopane, take the road to the Tatra National Park entrance at 'Kuźnice'. Once you reach Kuźnice, park your car in the designated parking area (fee: approximately 30 PLN per day). From Kuźnice, follow the marked trail towards Smreczyński Staw. The hike is about 1.5 hours and will take you through beautiful forested areas and scenic views.

From Zakopane, you can take a local bus or taxi to Kuźnice (bus fare: approximately 5-10 PLN). Once in Kuźnice, you will need to walk to the Tatra National Park entrance.
