If you're starting from the central area of Warsaw, locate the nearest metro station and take the M1 (red line) towards Młociny. Disembark at the 'Nowy Świat – Uniwersytet' station. From the station, head west on Nowy Świat Street until you reach the intersection with Krakowskie Przedmieście. Turn left onto Krakowskie Przedmieście and continue walking until you see the entrance to the Royal Castle on your right. The Castle Gardens, Upper Garden are located just behind the Royal Castle.

If you are near the Old Town, start from the Market Square (Rynek Starego Miasta). Walk towards the Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy) and proceed towards the Royal Castle. Once at the castle, follow the signs to the Castle Gardens, which are located directly behind the castle. The gardens are well-marked and easily accessible from this area.

To travel by tram, find the nearest tram stop. You can take tram lines 4, 10, or 22 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Zamek Królewski' stop. From here, walk towards the Royal Castle, and the entrance to the Castle Gardens, Upper Garden is right behind it.
