Car
If you're travelling by car, start on the A6 highway from any location in Alentejo. Head towards Évora and take the exit for Estremoz (Exit 5). Continue on the N4 until you reach Estremoz. As you enter Estremoz, follow the signs for 'Centro' (Center) and then for 'Porta de Évora'. The destination is located at Largo das Portas de Évora 2, 7100-510 Estremoz. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Porta de Évora via public transportation, take a bus from Évora to Estremoz. The bus departs from the main bus station in Évora. Check the schedule in advance, as there may be limited departures, especially on weekends. Once you arrive at Estremoz bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Largo das Portas de Évora. Exit the bus station and head towards the city center, following signs to 'Centro'. When you reach the main square, follow signs for 'Porta de Évora', which should lead you directly to your destination.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing service like Uber from any city in Alentejo to Estremoz. This option provides convenience, especially if you have luggage. The cost may vary depending on your starting location, but expect to pay between €30 to €60 for a one-way trip from Évora. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
