Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Vila Nova de Milfontes. From Lisbon, take the A2 highway south, then merge onto the IP2 towards Aljustrel. Follow the IP2 until you reach the N393. Continue on N393 until you see signs for Vila Nova de Milfontes. As you enter the town, follow the signs to Praia do Malhão. You will find parking available near the beach. Note that parking may incur a small fee during peak season.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Lisbon to Vila Nova de Milfontes. Rede Expressos operates several daily services. Once you arrive in Vila Nova de Milfontes, you can either walk to Praia do Malhão (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi. Taxis are available near the bus station, and the fare to Praia do Malhão should be around €10-€15. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
Walking from Vila Nova de Milfontes
If you're already in Vila Nova de Milfontes and prefer walking, head south from the town center. Follow the signs towards Praia do Malhão. The route is mostly flat, and it takes about 30 minutes on foot.
