Car

If you're driving from Lagos, take the N125 road heading west towards Aljezur. After approximately 25 km, turn right onto the N268 towards Carrapateira. Follow this road for about 10 km until you reach Carrapateira. Once in the village, follow the signs for Praia do Amado, which is about 2 km from the center. You will find parking available near the beach.
Public Transportation

To reach Praia do Amado by public transport from Lagos, take the Eva bus service towards Aljezur. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the Aljezur bus station. From there, you will need to take a taxi or a local shuttle service to Carrapateira, which is approximately 10 km away. Once in Carrapateira, you can follow the signs to Praia do Amado, which is about a 20-minute walk from the village center.
Car

If you're coming from Faro, take the A22 motorway towards Lagos. Exit at Junction 1 for N125 heading towards Aljezur. Continue on N125 for around 40 km, then turn right onto the N268 towards Carrapateira. Follow this road for 10 km until you reach Carrapateira. Once there, follow signs for Praia do Amado, which is approximately 2 km away. Parking is available near the beach.
Public Transportation

From Portimão, take the Eva bus to Aljezur. The trip takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival at the Aljezur bus station, you will need to take a taxi or another local bus to Carrapateira, which is about 10 km away. Once you arrive in Carrapateira, follow the signs to Praia do Amado, which is around a 20-minute walk from the village.
