Getting There

• Bus

  From Faro city center, walk to the bus terminal located at Avenida da Republica. Take the bus number 22 or 26 towards Loulé. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Loulé bus station, exit the station and head northeast on Avenida José da Costa Mealha. Follow the road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto EM525. Quinta da Tôr will be approximately a 15-minute walk along this road.

• Taxi

  You can easily catch a taxi from any location in Faro. Just tell the driver you want to go to Quinta da Tôr in Loulé, which is located at EM525 9. The drive will take around 20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before departing.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Faro. Head towards the bike rental shop, typically located near the marina. From Faro, follow the bike paths leading to Loulé. The route is about 15 km and will take approximately 1 hour. Be cautious of traffic as you approach Loulé. Once in Loulé, look for EM525, where Quinta da Tôr is located.

• Walking

  Walking to Quinta da Tôr from Faro is quite a long trek, approximately 15 km. Start from the city center and head towards the west on Avenida da Republica. Continue onto Rua de Portugal, following the signs for Loulé. This route will take you through some scenic areas, but prepare for a hike of around 3 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
