Walking
If you are starting from the Aveiro city center, head to the Praça da República. From there, walk along the main road, Rua de Coimbra, towards the northeast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua Dr. Bernardino Machado. Turn left onto Rua Dr. Bernardino Machado, and you will find the Aveiro Salt Flats at number 8 on your left.
Bus
To reach the Aveiro Salt Flats by bus, find the nearest bus stop to your current location. You can take any bus that heads towards the 'Salinas de Aveiro' route. Once on the bus, inform the driver of your destination to ensure you are on the right track. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the salt flats, and from there, it is a short walk to number 8, Rua Dr. Bernardino Machado.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Aveiro. From the city center, ride along the waterfront path towards the salt flats. Follow the signs for 'Salinas de Aveiro'. When you reach Rua Dr. Bernardino Machado, turn left, and the Aveiro Salt Flats will be on your left at number 8.
