    From the city center of Aveiro, head towards the main canal, Rua João Mário. Walk along the canal until you reach the Ponte dos Três Arcos bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Avenida de Portugal. Follow this avenue for about 1 kilometer until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida Doutor Rocha Madahil. Continue for about 500 meters, and you will find the Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo on your left at Avenida Doutor Rocha Madahil 193.

    From Aveiro train station, take the bus line 5 towards Ílhavo. The bus stop is located just outside the train station. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Museu Marítimo' stop. Once you exit the bus, the museum will be a short walk down Avenida Doutor Rocha Madahil, located at number 193.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center of Aveiro and head towards the water channels. Follow the bike path along the canal towards the south.
