Bus
From Coimbra, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Coimbra. You can take a bus from here to Ílhavo. Look for the bus line that says 'Coimbra to Ílhavo'. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Ílhavo bus station, exit and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit to Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you see the Museu Vista Alegre on your right.

Train and Bus
From Coimbra, take a train from Coimbra-B station to Aveiro. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Aveiro, exit the train station and catch a bus towards Ílhavo. The bus stop is located just outside the train station. The bus will take approximately 15 minutes to reach Ílhavo. After getting off at the Ílhavo bus station, walk straight to the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade, and continue for 1 km until you see the Museu Vista Alegre on your right.

If you find yourself in central Coimbra, you can walk to the bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Coimbra, which is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. From there, take a bus towards Ílhavo. After disembarking at the Ílhavo bus station, walk to the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade, and continue for 1 km to reach the Museu Vista Alegre on your right.
