Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Beira Alta, take the A1 highway towards Porto. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Matosinhos (Exit 6). Continue on the A28 for approximately 10 km. Follow signs for Matosinhos and merge onto Av. Menéres. Casa da Arquitectura will be on your right at Av. Menéres 456. Parking is available on the street or at nearby parking lots. Be aware that parking may incur a fee.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you prefer public transport, head to the nearest train station in Beira Alta. Purchase a ticket to Matosinhos. The journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Matosinhos station, exit and walk towards the bus stop. Take Bus Line 504 (heading towards Matosinhos) and get off at the stop ‘Av. Menéres’. Casa da Arquitectura will be a short walk from there. Ensure you check the train and bus schedules for any timing changes.

The bus ride typically lasts about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Matosinhos, alight at the main bus station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Casa da Arquitectura. Head south on Av. da República towards Av. Menéres, where Casa da Arquitectura is located at number 456.

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare app. If you're in Beira Alta, you can easily hail a taxi or book a ride through an app. The drive will take approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic.
