If you are driving from central Beira Litoral, take the A1 motorway heading north towards Entroncamento. After approximately 90 km, take exit 70 towards Entroncamento. Continue straight on the N3 for about 5 km. Turn right onto R. Ferreira de Mesquita, and the National Railway Museum will be on your left at number 1-A. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee depending on the area.

For those opting for public transport, head to the nearest train station in Beira Litoral. Board a train heading towards Entroncamento, which typically runs every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Entroncamento station, exit and head southwest on R. 1º de Maio towards R. Ferreira de Mesquita. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the street signs, and you will reach the National Railway Museum at R. Ferreira de Mesquita 1-A.
