Public Transport
From Braga city center, head to the Braga train station (Estação de Braga). You can either walk there, which takes about 15 minutes, or take a local bus to the station. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket to Porto. The train ride to Porto takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Porto's Campanhã station, transfer to the Metro. Take Line A (Blue Line) towards São Pedro da Afurada, and get off at the 'Casa da Música' station. From there, transfer to Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio and get off at 'Trindade' station. Finally, walk for about 15 minutes to Praia do Ourigo, located at R. da Praia 6.
Walking
If you are in the central area of Braga, you can walk to the bus station (Rodoviária de Braga) where you can catch a bus to Porto. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and drops you off at Porto's bus terminal. From there, you can take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) from 'Campo 24 de Agosto' station towards São Pedro da Afurada and transfer to Line D (Yellow Line) at 'Trindade' station. After that, it’s a 15-minute walk to Praia do Ourigo.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in Braga. Just tell the driver to take you to Praia do Ourigo, located at R. da Praia 6 in Porto. The journey will take approximately 1 hour depending on traffic, and it is the most convenient option if you have luggage or are traveling in a group.
