From 'São Bento' station, exit the metro and head towards the 'Praça de Almeida Garrett' square. Walk straight down 'Rua de 31 de Janeiro' until you reach 'Rua de Santa Catarina'. Turn right on 'Rua de Santa Catarina' and continue straight until you reach 'Avenida dos Aliados'.

Continue walking down 'Avenida dos Aliados' until you reach 'Praça da Liberdade'. From there, take 'Rua de Miguel Bombarda' and walk until you reach 'Avenida da Boavista'. Cross over to 'Avenida da Boavista' and continue straight until you reach the junction with 'Rua do Campo Alegre'.

At 'Rua do Campo Alegre', turn left and follow the street until you reach the riverfront. From there, you can enjoy a scenic walk along 'Cais da Ribeira' towards the south until you reach 'Praia do Ourigo'. The beach is located at 'R. da Praia 6, 4150-196 Porto'.

Alternatively, instead of walking, after reaching 'Avenida da Boavista', you can catch bus number 203 or 305 from the nearest bus stop ('Boavista - Casa da Música') heading towards 'Foz do Douro'. Get off at the 'Praia do Ourigo' bus stop, which is a short walk from the beach.
