    From the center of Caldas da Rainha, start at Praça da Fruta. Head south on Rua de José Afonso until you reach the main road, Avenida 1 de Maio. Turn right and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua Dr. José Maria dos Santos. Turn left onto Rua Dr. José Maria dos Santos, and continue walking for approximately 300 meters. You will come to a bus stop called 'Caldas da Rainha - Av. 1 de Maio.' From here, take a bus towards Óbidos. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Óbidos, disembark at the main bus stop. The Arco da Cadeia is a short walk from the bus stop. Head northeast on Rua da Porta da Vila, and in about 5 minutes, you will see Arco da Cadeia on your right.
