Bus
From Caldas da Rainha, head to the bus station located at Praça 25 de Abril. Look for the bus company 'Rodoviária do Tejo'. Purchase a ticket to Nazaré, which should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nazaré bus station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenida da Liberdade). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the beach. From the beach, turn right and walk along the promenade until you see signs for 'Ascensor da Nazaré' which is located at R. do Horizonte 20.

Take a train from Caldas da Rainha train station to the nearest major station, which is either in Leiria or Valado dos Frades (ensure to check train schedules). Once you arrive, head to the bus stop near the station and catch a bus heading to Nazaré. Disembark at the Nazaré bus station and follow the same directions as mentioned before: exit the station, head left to Avenida da Liberdade, then to the beach and right along the promenade to reach Ascensor da Nazaré.
