    From Caldas da Rainha, head to the main bus station located at Avenida da República, 15. Look for the bus services to Peniche, which is the nearest town to Baleal Island. Purchase a ticket to Peniche, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Peniche bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Avenida do Mar). From there, catch the local bus that heads to Baleal Island. The bus ride is around 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Baleal' stop, and you’ll be just a short walk to the beach.

    Rent a bicycle from a local rental service in Caldas da Rainha. Start your journey by heading northwest on Rua da Liberdade towards Avenida da República. Continue straight to reach the N114 road. Follow the N114 road towards Peniche for about 15 km. The route is mostly flat and scenic. Once you arrive at Baleal Island, you can park your bike and enjoy the beach.

    If you enjoy walking, start from the center of Caldas da Rainha and head towards the N114 road. The walk is approximately 15 km and will take around 3-4 hours.
