Getting There

Bus

From Caldas da Rainha, head to the main bus terminal located at Avenida dos Descobrimentos. Take the bus to Peniche, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive in Peniche, get off at the last stop, which is close to the city center. From there, follow the signs to Estr. Marginal Norte, and walk towards the coastline. The Cabo Carvoeiro Lighthouse is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop, following the coastal road.

If you are already in Caldas da Rainha and prefer to walk, start at Praça da Fruta in the city center. Head west towards Rua das Oliveiras, then take a left onto Rua 1º de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the second exit onto N114. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Estr. Marginal Norte. Turn right, and walk along this road towards Peniche. The walk is approximately 12km and will take around 2.5 hours. Enjoy the scenery along the way!
