Once you arrive in Santarém, you will need to transfer to another bus that goes to Alcanede. Check the bus schedule at the terminal for the next departure to Alcanede.

Start at the Caldas da Rainha train station located near the center of the town. Board a train heading towards Lisbon and get off at the Santarém station. The total travel time will be around an hour and a half, including train and bus transfers.
