Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Cascais train station, exit the station and walk straight down Av. 25 de Abril towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the beach promenade. From there, head along the promenade to your left (towards Estoril). After about 1 km, you will reach a bus stop named 'Cascais Centro'. Take the bus number 403 towards Lisbon. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Martim Moniz'. From Martim Moniz, walk uphill along Rua da Palma until you reach the top of the hill, then turn left onto Rua de Santa Cruz do Castelo. Follow this street, and you will arrive at Castelo de São Jorge.

From Cascais, head to the bus terminal located close to the Cascais train station. Look for the bus number 403 that goes to Lisbon. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Martim Moniz' stop. Once you get off, walk straight along Rua da Palma, and after a short distance, turn left onto Rua de Santa Cruz do Castelo. Follow this road and you will reach Castelo de São Jorge.

From Cascais, take the train towards Lisbon at the Cascais train station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Rossio' station in Lisbon. Once you exit the station, head towards Praça da Figueira and then take Rua de São Paulo to the east. Continue until you reach Rua da Palma, then turn right onto Rua de Santa Cruz do Castelo.
