Getting There

Walking
From the center of Cascais, head southwest towards Avenida Dom Carlos I. Walk along this avenue until you reach the coastline. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left onto the promenade that runs along the beach. Continue walking for about 20 minutes, following the signs towards Caxias Beach. You will pass through a few smaller beaches along the way, and after approximately 1.5 km, you will arrive at Caxias Beach.

From Cascais Train Station, take a train towards Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). After 3 stops, get off at the Caxias station. Once you exit the station, head east toward the coast. Follow the pedestrian path that leads you directly to Caxias Beach, which is just a 5-minute walk from the station.

Bus
Catch bus number 403 from Cascais Bus Station, which is located near the Cascais Train Station. The bus will take you directly to Caxias. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Caxias stop, and from there, Caxias Beach is a short walk away. Simply head towards the coastline and you will see the beach ahead.
