Start at Cascais Train Station. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon. Board the train heading towards Cais do Sodré. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Cais do Sodré Station, exit the station and head towards the river. From there, take tram 15E towards Algés. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Belém'. Walk straight down Avenida da Índia, and you will see the Palácio Nacional de Belém on your left.

Begin at Cascais Bus Station. Buy a ticket for the bus line 403, which goes directly to Lisbon. The ride takes around 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Belém' stop. As you get off, walk towards the river and head left along the waterfront. The Palácio Nacional de Belém will be on your right after a short walk.
