Train
From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon for approximately €2.50. Board the train heading towards Lisbon. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon, exit the station and walk towards Praça da Figueira. It’s about a 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Rua do Arsenal, then turn left onto Rua da Prata. Continue walking straight until you reach Praça da Figueira.
Bus
At the Cascais bus terminal, catch the bus number 403 towards Lisbon. The fare is around €3. The bus will take you directly to Lisbon, and the journey lasts approximately 50 minutes. After arriving at the bus terminal in Lisbon, walk towards Praça da Figueira, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on Avenida da Liberdade, then turn left onto Rua da Prata until you reach the square.
Walking
If you're already in Cascais, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Lisbon, which is about 30 kilometers away. Start from the Cascais promenade along the coast, following the signs towards Estoril and then Lisbon. This is a long walk, taking approximately 6-8 hours, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Once you reach Lisbon, navigate towards Praça da Figueira by following local signage or using a map app.
