From Cascais train station, take the train towards Lisbon. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to board a train that stops at the Alcântara-Terra station. Once you arrive at Alcântara-Terra, exit the station and head towards the riverside. You will see the beautiful waterfront and a pathway leading towards the direction of the Rose Compass.
Bus
From Cascais, you can take bus number 403 towards Lisbon. Get off at the 'Cais do Sodré' bus stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the river and take the pathway along the waterfront. Head towards the 'Padrão dos Descobrimentos' monument, which is a short walk from the bus stop and is near the Rose Compass.
