From the Sintra train station, exit the building and head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Turn left and walk straight until you reach the bus stop. Take the Scotturb bus number 434 to the center of Sintra. Once you arrive at the Sintra historic center stop, walk towards the Sintra National Palace. From there, continue straight along the Rua das Padarias until you reach the Largo de São Martinho. Keep walking and follow the signs towards the Miradouro de Santo Estêvão, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Palacio Nacional.
Public Transport

To reach the Santo Estêvão Belvedere from the Sintra train station, take the Scotturb bus number 434 towards the Sintra historic center. Get off at the Sintra historical center stop. From there, you can either walk to the belvedere, which is about a 10-minute walk, or take the bus number 435 towards Colares for two stops, then walk to the belvedere. Follow the signs directing you to the Miradouro de Santo Estêvão.

If you are already in the historic center of Sintra, head towards the Rua das Padarias street. Walk straight, passing by the Sintra National Palace. After about 5 minutes, you will reach Largo de São Martinho. Continue straight and follow the signs for the Miradouro de Santo Estêvão. It is a scenic walk that takes about 10 minutes in total.
