    If you are in the center of Cascais, start at the Cascais Train Station (Estação de Cascais). Exit the station and turn right onto Avenida 25 de Abril. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the main plaza, Praça 5 de Outubro. From there, continue straight onto Rua da Liberdade and then turn left onto Rua de Dom Pedro I. Follow this road until you reach the Cascais Marina. At the marina, keep heading straight until you reach the Avenida Rei Humberto II de Itália. Continue straight along this avenue until you reach the train station, where you can catch a train to Lisbon. The trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon, exit the station and head to the nearby Rua do Arsenal. From there, catch tram number 15 or bus 728 towards Praça da Figueira. Get off at the stop 'Cais do Sodré' and transfer to the metro station. Take the green line towards Campo Grande and get off at the 'Baixa-Chiado' station. From Baixa-Chiado, exit onto Rua do Carmo, and then turn right onto Rua Serpa Pinto. The Teatro Nacional de São Carlos will be on your left at R. Serpa Pinto 9.
