If you're in the center of Cascais, start your journey by heading towards Avenida Dom Carlos I. This avenue is a main road, and you can easily find it from the Cascais Train Station or the Cascais Marina. From the Train Station, exit and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida Dom Carlos I. Continue walking down this avenue for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the fortress. The fortress, known as 'Fortress Nossa Senhora da Luz de Cascais', will be on your left at number 246. It’s a beautiful structure overlooking the coastline.

For those preferring public transport, you can take the local bus from Cascais. Head to the Cascais Bus Terminal, which is close to the train station. Look for Bus 403, which heads towards Boca do Inferno. Get off at the stop 'Av. Dom Carlos I'. From there, the fortress is just a short walk away.
