Walking
If you are in the central area of Cascais, start at the Cascais Train Station (Estação de Cascais). Exit the station and head towards Avenida Dom Carlos I. Walk straight along this avenue for about 5-10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at Praça 5 de Outubro. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua do Comércio. Continue straight, and you will find Largo da Estação on your right, a small square with charming surroundings.
Bus
If you are further away, you can take a local bus. Head to the nearest bus stop and look for bus lines that head towards the Cascais center. A common line is the 403, which connects various neighborhoods to the center. Get off at the stop called 'Cascais Centro' and walk towards Avenida Dom Carlos I. From there, follow the same directions as above to Largo da Estação.
Bike Rental
For a more enjoyable experience, consider renting a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Cascais. Once you have your bike, head towards the Cascais promenade (Estrada Marginal). Ride along the promenade towards the center of town. As you approach the city center, follow the signs leading you to the historical area. Largo da Estação is located near the center, just off Avenida Dom Carlos I.
