Walking
If you are starting from the Coimbra University, head down the Rua da Universidade towards the city center. Follow the street until you reach the Praça da República, a prominent square. From there, continue walking straight on Rua Ferreira Borges until you reach the intersection with Rua do Comércio. Turn left onto Rua do Comércio, and after a short walk, you will find Praça do Comércio on your right. It's easily recognizable with its vibrant atmosphere and historical buildings.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Coimbra Bus Station, you can take Bus Line 34 towards 'Santa Clara'. Get off at the stop 'Praça da República'. From there, walk down the Rua Ferreira Borges street until you reach the intersection with Rua do Comércio. Turn left onto Rua do Comércio, and you will arrive at Praça do Comércio in a few minutes. This route takes around 15 minutes in total.

If you are near the Santa Clara area, walk towards the river. Take the path along the riverbank until you reach the bridge Ponte Pedro e Inês. Cross the bridge, and follow the road straight until it connects with Rua do Comércio. Turn right, and you will see Praça do Comércio shortly after on your left. This scenic route offers beautiful views of the river and the city.
