    If you are starting from the University of Coimbra, exit the campus and head towards the main road, Rua Ferreira Borges. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Rua de São Paulo. Take a left on Rua de São Paulo and continue straight until you reach Praça 8 de Maio. From the square, follow the signs towards Arco Almedina, which is located a short walk away. The Porta e Torre de Almedina is at R. do Arco Almedina 7.

    Public Transport

    If you are near the Coimbra train station, you can take bus number 34 or 35 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Praça 8 de Maio'. From there, follow the signs towards Arco Almedina. Walk straight on Rua do Arco Almedina, and you will see the Porta e Torre de Almedina at R. do Arco Almedina 7.

    If you are at the Santa Clara-a-Velha Monastery, exit the site and head toward the river. Cross the Pedro e Inês footbridge, and once you reach the other side, continue walking straight. Take the first right onto Rua da Lapa, and then take another right onto Rua de São Paulo. This road will lead you directly to Praça 8 de Maio.
