If you are starting from the University of Coimbra, exit the campus and head towards the main road, Rua Ferreira Borges. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Rua de São Paulo. If you are near the Coimbra train station, you can take bus number 34 or 35 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Praça 8 de Maio'. From there, follow the signs towards Arco Almedina. If you are at the Santa Clara-a-Velha Monastery, exit the site and head toward the river. Cross the Pedro e Inês footbridge, and once you reach the other side, continue walking straight.
