Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the University of Coimbra, exit the university grounds and head down Rua da Universidade towards Praça da República. Once you reach the square, turn left onto Avenida Sá da Bandeira and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a roundabout; take the first exit onto Rua de Pedro e Inês. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua do Arco Almedina. Turn right onto Rua do Arco Almedina, and you will find Arco de Almedina on your left at number 45.

    From Coimbra's main train station (Estação de Coimbra), exit the station and head towards the city center via Avenida Fernão de Magalhães. Continue straight until you hit Rua de Pedro e Inês. Turn left onto Rua de Pedro e Inês and follow this road until you reach Rua do Arco Almedina. Turn left onto Rua do Arco Almedina and walk to number 45, where Arco de Almedina is located.
