If you are starting from the Coimbra train station, exit the station and head straight down Avenida Fernão de Magalhães. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the end of the avenue. You will arrive at Praça da República. From there, turn left onto Rua da Sofia and walk until you see the beautiful Largo da Portagem on your right. It should take you about 25 minutes from the train station.
