Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the Douro Valley, head towards the A24 highway. From towns like Pinhão or Peso da Régua, follow the N222 road that runs along the Douro River, offering picturesque views. Merge onto the A1 highway towards Porto, and take the exit for Vila Nova de Gaia. Continue on the N222 road towards Gaia Porto. Upon entering Vila Nova de Gaia, follow the signs for 'Caves de Vinho do Porto' to reach Gaia Porto. Parking is available in the area, but check for any parking fees.

    To reach Gaia Porto from Douro Valley by train, first, head to the nearest train station such as Peso da Régua or Pinhão. Take the train towards Porto (CP - Comboios de Portugal).
